Routine tags: organise your Reformer library your way

Create custom tags like Wednesday, Beginner or an instructor's name, tag any routine including the By Ginty presets, and filter your class library with one tap.

Your routine library grows fast. After a few months of teaching you have Sculpt classes, Form classes, Wednesday regulars, a couple of prenatal-friendly flows and a handful of routines you built for one specific client. Scrolling to find the right one is not planning, it is admin.

Routine tags fix that. Create your own labels, put them on any routine, and filter the list with one tap.

Create your own tags

Tags are free-form. Any name works: Wednesday, Beginner, Sarah, Prenatal, Jump Board. Name them the way you actually talk about your classes, not the way an app thinks you should.

Tags belong to your studio, so everyone on your team shares the same set and stays organised the same way. Duplicate names are prevented automatically, so you will not end up with three slightly different versions of "beginner".

Tag any routine, presets included

A routine can carry as many tags as you like. They appear as small chips right on the routine row, so you can see at a glance how a class is categorised.

Even the built-in By Ginty preset routines can be tagged. Your tags on presets stay private to your studio, so tagging a preset "Monday" in your studio never affects anyone else.

Routines that have no tags yet show a subtle dashed + Tag chip, a quiet invitation to add one while you are already looking at the list.

Filter with one tap

The routine filter now has a My tags section at the top. Tap a tag and the list narrows instantly to matching routines, and you can combine tags with the filters you already use: category, duration, number of exercises and source.

"Show me Angelina's beginner routines under 45 minutes" is now two taps instead of a scroll.

Managing your tags

A Manage tags screen lists everything your studio has created, reachable from the tag sheet. Deleting a tag simply removes that label from the routines that carry it. The routines themselves are never touched.

How sharing works

  • Tags are shared within a studio, not personal per user.
  • Tags never cross studio boundaries, including on shared preset routines.
  • Deleting a tag only removes the label, never the routine.

Where to find it

Everything lives on the Routines tab:

  1. Tag chips and the + Tag chip on each routine row.
  2. Tapping the chip area opens the tag sheet to add, remove or create tags.
  3. The filter button opens the filter sheet, now with My tags.
  4. Manage tags is reachable from the tag sheet.

First-time users see a short intro card explaining tags, which you can dismiss once you have read it.

Availability

Routine tags are live now for existing users through an automatic in-app update, so there is nothing to download. They are also included in app version 1.0.5, currently going through Apple and Google review for new downloads.
